RISE is a self-paced, custom-designed incubation program sharply focussed on meeting the specific needs of the entrepreneur and the business being launched – we do not believe that one size fits all.
Through a combination of one-on-one coaching and mentoring as well as peer to peer sessions, entrepreneurs work through a comprehensive implementation plan at their own pace. This assures the greatest likelihood of a successful business launch.
The program is typically designed in phases that cover a broad range of topics such as:
- Business Plan
- Marketing and Communications
- Sales
- Product Development
- Human Resources
- Budgeting and Finance
Each phase is delivered by subject matter experts, all seasoned business executives and professional service providers. RISE will provide introductions to a range of experts, but the engagement of the experts and the terms of that engagement are ultimately decided by the entrepreneur themselves.
For people arriving from outside of Canada, we also can provide English as a second language (ESL) tutoring if required.

In-Residence Services
RISE offers a unique package of services to assist in building your business in Canada. We work with mature, experienced entrepreneurs.
Included in the package:
- Furnished office space within our business complex located in “The Hive”, part of Cambridge, Ontario’s heritage district redevelopment project known as The Gaslight District. Both private and open concept space is available suitable for individuals or teams to develop and launch their business
- Limited supply of residential accommodation also available if required
- A comprehensive program of coaching and mentoring including:
